project "ART = SUPER" - sales exhibition / art supermarket

We are arranging a wide variety of events in deKunstClub.nl during "ART = SUPER". Visitors are invited to take part in these events. Artists will be working on-site; there will be all kind of demos and mini-workshops; and there will be performances to enjoy.

saturday 19/11

• all day - photography - in the sculpture garden three improvised studios are erected to take (very) unusual and innovative portraits of customers. The photographer is Hella Martens. The portraits will be printed directly to be taken along; they will cost € ....
• 11:00-15:00 - small art/photo books - demonstration / miniworkshop. Given by Marga van Norde. Her art is available in the supermarket (art/photo boxes, books and stationary, paper bags)
• from 15:00 - poetry and music - an unplugged performance by stand-up poet SPIT plus guitar. The poetry book "Popmuzak" plus bonus try-out CD are on sale, will cost € 15

sunday 20/11

• 14:00-18:00 - painting for children - they can paint their own art placemat(s), with (some) guidance by painter Arma van Rijsbergen. The finished works will be coated with a quick-drying lacker and they can be taken along directly. Will cost € 10 each
• 18:00-19:00 - spoken poems, in combination with paintings or video fragments. The poet is Pierre Maréchal. The CD "Inspiratie kleurt" and the DVD "Naar Metropolis" are on sale and cost € 7,50 and € 15 respectively. Several of his poetry books are available in the supermarket

• 11:00-15:00 - small art/photo books - demonstration / miniworkshop. Given by Marga van Norde. Her art is available in the supermarket (art/photo boxes, books and stationary, paper bags)
• 12:00-16:00 - demonstration textile printing techniques - visitors can print their own (free) piece of cloth to take away. The demo is given by Maya Jansen. Her work is available in the supermarket (textile objects, textile postcards)

saturday 26/11

• 14:00-17:00 - demonstration hand-made paper - visitors can make their own sheet of paper. During scooping some decorative material can be added. The finished sheet can be taken along directly. Will cost € .... The demo is given by Mieke Smeulers. Her art is available in the supermarket (paper sheets, collages, paper masks)
• 18:00-19:00 - recital by two poets. Nicole Loeve and Pierre Maréchal will read recent poems. Their books of poetry are available in the supermarket.
  Last sunday, Pierre Maréchal and Alex den Ouden gave us a preview of their DVD "Naar Metropolis". This saturday, they present the finished edition. Eleven-and-a-half minutes of film fragments, spoken poems, sounds and music. The DVD is available NOW. It costs € 15

• from 14:00 - second (experimental) public preparation/rehearsal for the concert of improvised music for cello and electronics on sunday 11/12. Performers are Joost Wijnen and Huub Bogaers
• from 19:00 - first (experimental) public preparation/rehearsal for the exciting, musically thrilling poetical event to be presented on sunday 18/12 by Guido van Hout, Joost Wijnen and SPIT

saturday 10/12

• 12:00-17:00 - demonstration portrait drawing - visitors can have their portrait drawn. The finished drawing will cost € 15 and can be taken along directly. Given by Zita van den Boomen. Her art is available in the supermarket (drawings, art postcards)
• 14:00-15:30 - introductory workshop "juggling". Given by well-known juggler Guido van Hout. A set of three balls is included in the price. Cost is € 15. Giftvouchers for the miniworkshop-plus-set of balls are also available in the supermarket

• 19:00-20:00 - poetically inspired blue dropshaped salsa bottles? Performers are Guido van Hout, Joost Wijnen and SPIT. Expect lots of excitements, music and thrills .... not in the least at the end, when the traditional "round with the hat" will afford the public to show their enormous appreciation in Hard Coins. We are looking for an extra high silk cylinder hat to contain these generous gifts.
